A medium purple Arizona amethyst with awesome pink flashes. Expert cutting, with only one small veil that is not usually visible to the naked eye. Four Peaks material is mined the old-fashioned way – miners trek 9 miles up rugged mountain paths to reach the mine, where they dig in timber-braced tunnels with hand tools. This lovely American Amethyst has become almost impossible to source for custom cutting, but we were lucky enough to run across some in an old collection.
