Precision cut in Vermont by Scott Maier, in one of my personal favorite designs – Arya Akhavan’s “Century Eagle”
Unheated Sky Blue Montana Sapphire, mined along the headwaters of the Missouri River outside Helena, Montana. Extremely fun to play with in hand due to light return, scintillation, and tilt performance – all maximized by the cutting. There is a small veil inclusion in one corner, not visible in hand, otherwise clean crystal with a hard brilliance, little to no silk. Completely Unheated and Untreated, mined by a small family-owned operation.
