A groovy custom cut pair of Blueish Green Gem Silica from the Lily Mine, high in the Peruvian Andes. A Verdant Green color sprays across these diamond shaped tablets, expertly cut in Vermont. This batch of material is hygroscopic, meaning clarity can range depending on humidity. They can be opaque after prolonged exposure to arid environments like deserts, and gel-like with good translucency in moist environments. Gem Silica is as hard as quartz, with excellent durability thanks to its cryptocrystalline structure. Would make an ideal pair of earrings!
