An exceedingly rare medium blue North Carolina Aquamarine from the famous Ray Mica Mine. The former mine shafts are now closed and gated as they have become home to endangered/threatened species’ of bats, so we may never see a supply of this fabulous material again 🙁 While there are some small inclusions, they are not too noticeable in hand and do not detract from performance or break the surface.
