A fabulous Green Montana Sapphire, from the alluvial gravel deposits of the Missouri River outside of Helena, MT.
Green Sapphires with attractive body color are quite difficult to find from any locale, so I was excited to pick this one up despite the inclusions. I have seen this Sapphire turn at least three different shade so far, a perfect medium Seafoam Green outdoors, and Lake Green to Silvery Sage indoors. More shades could be waiting for the right light to reveal themselves! There are some inclusions on the crown, but they are not a setting risk and this gem is just delightful in hand, would make a TDF engagement ring!
