A splendid medium ocean blue Aquamarine from an unusual location. Ethiopian Aquamarine was discovered in 2011. The deposit is largely frozen in granitic pegmatite and produces mostly specimens, with only one open pocket producing facet grade stones discovered to date. This one has some small inclusions, as well as a small window which will likely close with the right setting.
