3.14ct Forest Green Tourmaline

Green Tourmaline with a closed C axis. Should easily fit a stock 8mm square setting!  This is good as it gets for closed C tourmaline, showing the typical “pixelated” pattern of opposed bar cuts. Performs well even in low-light conditions.  Origin unknown but looks consistent with Brazilian material.

There are some very small inclusions, and small imperfections in the polish, neither visible in hand without magnification.
