Lovely Deep Blue-Green Missouri River Sapphire, extremely large size for a Montana Sapphire and wonderful clarity. The color of this rare find reminds one of a deep lake, overhung with pine and spruce, high in the Rocky Mountains. Only a few gems per Montana mining season will cut clean stones over 5 carats, and this one has fabulous crystal and impeccable American cutting! There are a few very small discoid inclusions and a blue zone, but neither distracts or impedes the performance.
