An exceedingly rare light blue North Carolina Aquamarine from the famous Ray Mica Mine. Although surface collection is still allowed, the former mine shafts are now closed and gated as they have become home to threatened/endangered species’ of bats, so we may never see a supply of this fabulous material again 🙁 Eye clean, with only a few small, wispy inclusions visible under the loupe.
