A very dynamic “faceted sugarloaf” cut in a lovely Jade colored Gem Silica.  Mined on the slopes of the Peruvian Andes, Gem Silica is naturally colored and extremely wear resistant, well-suited for daily wear as a ring or pendant.  This piece is somewhat hygroscopic, so it will be more opaque if exposed to arid environments for prolonged periods. Photographed at 45% relative humidity.
