A richly colored Gem Silica from Arizona, in a very fun custom tablet cut by Hans. This gem has some zoning and visible inclusions, most notably along the bottom where you can see a Greener and more denser patch of Chrysocolla inclusions that give this remarkable form of Chalcedony it’s color. I have observed some hygroscopicity in this piece, meaning it can become more opaque if exposed to arid environments for prolonged periods.
