A stunningly colored Indicolite from Nigeria, cut in a classic elogated Cushion with rounded girdle outline. A perfect Medium-Dark Greenish Blue, with a step-cut pavilion for classic “Emerald cut” performance. Some very small inclusions are not visible to the naked eye. There is a very slight color gradient, visible only under certain lights with some scrutiny, a bit more Blue on one end and Greener on the other. A conservative, classy Indicolite, just begging to be prong set – I see it grasped by some sharp claw prongs in 18kt gold…
