2.7ct Light Yellowish-Green Connecticut Beryl

$250.00

2.7ct Pastel Beryl, Roebling Mine, Upper Merryall, Connecticut

Cut by Troy Richardson in Willie Klaja’s “Surveillance”

9.77 x 6.35 mm

Eye clean and and exceedingly bright and sparkly!  The line of bubbles with staining visible in the photos is invisible to the naked eye, and does not diminish the brilliance or performance of this custom U.S. cut gem. This material was purchased decades ago in dumptruck loads of mine run material from then-owner, Howard Hewitt.   The mine is closed due to housing development, and the overburden has collapsed into the open cut, so there may never be production of this unique American Beryl again 🙁
