A sublime Unheated Pink Sapphire, extremely rare for any locale but especially Montana. This delightful crystal boasts several unique features, most notably the chromium bearing Trigon, which is eye visible in-hand at some angles! The hot pink triangle is surrounded by hexagonal lines of Rutile silk, called “growth lines”, these show the natural crystal structure’s orientation as it grew. Very fun in hand, this Montana will appear silky at certain angles, and tracks as eye clean at others. My favorite Pink Sapphire that we’ve cut to date 🙂
